 We hope to see our community transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ working through the lives of ordinary people.
Jesus said that the greatest command was to love God. After his death and resurrection he gave his followers a clear mission - to make disciples of all nations. We use a combination of the 'great command' and the 'great comission' to help us focus on what we should be doing. "To know God and make Him known" just about sums that up !
Jesus equipped his disciples to spread his message about the Kingdom of God. We are on the same mission. In February 2004 an eldershp of five men was formed. After much thinking, praying, discussion and seeking God - involving many within the church - we have developed a clearer idea of what God wants from us. This helped us to put together a clear vision, that gives direction and priorities for the next phase of our growth. What we felt we heard from God then, we are continuing to work out now.  |
