Community Debt Advice is a free service to people living in the Reigate / Redhill / Merstham area who are struggling to pay what they owe.

 

This is run by a professional, confidential and friendly team, who have good experience in helping people through some difficult financial situations ... or apparent disasters.

Rachel Foreman completed a gap year placement with us in August 2009, having served the church for a year as a Frontier Project student, working as a full time volunteer.

 

In May of 2010 she went off to work in Turkey for 5 months to work with Living Sun, a Christian holiday company. While she was there, Rachel felt clearly that God was calling her to work abroad, so in January 2011 she left the UK to live and work with the church in Turkey for a year.  

 

The letters that Rachel has written over the last couple of years give a good picture of what her experiences have been. The most recent letters are from Turkey. 

Hannah Lukianow (nee Wagstaff) grew up in RRCC and then spent a gap year with us.  Her primary responsibility was to work with young people, mainly those within the church.

 

She was 25 when she started the year and left a career in the Police to explore exactly what youth work might be like.  By the end of the year Hannah ended up with a clear direction to pursue!  She has now moved to Manchester, is working with young offenders and ex-offenders and is happily married!
