"Whether you've been married two years or twenty two years, the 'Marriage Course' is good, helpful and enjoyable ... it's well worth doing".

Â
Why do this course?
Â
-Â Regular check-ups help a car run smoothly and reduce the risk of breakdown. -Â The best sports professionals spend hours being coached and perfecting their technique. -Â The greatest achievements in life take practice, training and dedication.
The truth is, you don't get something for nothing ... anyone who wants a good marriage will need to invest in it. No exceptions!
Â
What actually happens?
Â
Hosted by Charlie and Helen Hawkins, you will participate in a seven session course set in a fantastic atmosphere at Adrian and Maddy Godlieb’s house in North Reigate.
Firstly, you'll be served with a special meal at a romantic candlelit table for two.
Secondly, you'll hear practical talks that are informative and fun, played on DVDs created by Nicky and Sila Lee, who are based at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton.
Thirdly, you'll get to talk to each other about a number of practical ways to strengthen your marriage.
NB: There is never any 'group work' and you will never be asked to share anything about your relationship with anyone other than your partner.
The way we've put this together there is pretty much no possibility of embarrassment during one of these evenings.
Â
Over the course you will discover practical tools to help you:
- understand each other’s needs
-Â communicate more effectively
-Â grow closer through resolving conflict
- heal the ways you’ve hurt each other
-Â recognise how your upbringing affects your relationship
-Â improve relationships with parents and in-laws
-Â develop greater sexual intimacy
- discover each other’s 'love languages' and much, much more!
Â
There is a cost for this course that covers course materials you will be given and all the meals you will share ... our time is freely given!
Â
