Hello everyone!

Hope you’re all doing well.

Many thanks to your continual support throughout this year, is much appreciated and a big encouragement to me.

Another month has flown by, filled with much to thank God for!

The month started with training in Wimbledon were we had 2 days of Stef Liston Preaching on Galatians, which was awesome, he would read one verse and preached, was a great understanding of the letter and some life changing teaching. We finished training with a day on the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit.

The baptism of one of the girls I’ve been discipling went well and was a very encouraging morning, a very courageous girl full of passion for Jesus! Her Mum unfortunately didn’t come, but many of her family came, including her Dad who’s not a Christian, he was challenged by what he heard and has had many conversations with his daughter about Jesus since, Praise God! Please pray her family would come to know Jesus.

Another of the girls I’ve been discipling was encouraged by this baptism and has also decided she’d liked to be baptised, which should hopefully happen in the next month. Please pray for this.

The group for the younger teens, Y2K, has been going well. We have recently moved into a brand new venue which has opened up our options of what we can do. I’ve also enjoyed getting to know better the girls better, in the last month or so they’ve started to open up a lot more to me which is great after getting to know them for months. Please pray for wisdom for me as I show Jesus’ light to them through my words and life.
We started a year 10 and 11 CU at a local school which many of our youth go to, which has seen many people come along, due mainly to one of our girls bringing many of her friends along, a great encouragement. We’ve kicked off with a ‘grill a Christian’ session which produced many questions we were able to follow on from in the weeks after. Please pray those coming would be challenged to live their lives for Jesus.

This week I was away training in which we studied Church History (all 2000 years, yes my brain wanted to explode after it!) Wednesday we studied Evangelism and were set a challenge at lunch to go into the streets of Wimbledon and to ask people 3 questions: What’s the most important thing in your life and why? 100 years ago most people would have said God, why do you not think this is the case? If you could ask God one question, what would it be? This was initially scary but went really well and people were very open about what they believe, none denying God which was refreshing to hear! Many thought the reason people didn’t answer God was because of the nations obsession with money, which was interesting. On Wednesday evening for our evening session we did a group treasure hunt! All 35 of us split into groups of 4 or 5 and went out onto the streets of Wimbledon to find our treasure God had led us too. I was leading a group of 3 guys and another girl. God was hugely at work and many of the guys saw healings! Two of the guys in my group spoke to a guy for 20 minutes in which they were able to share the Gospel. Our group had many great conversations with people in which I believe many seeds were sown, please pray they would come to know Jesus.

Our Church has recently kicked off an evening service which we launched a pre-launch on Sunday. It went really well and already visitors came which was a massive encouragement. Please pray we would see salvation and we’d Glorify Jesus’ name through this.

Some of you may know I applied to go on a life change team to Turkey this summer. I was recently accepted onto this team of 6, in which I will help with a church plant. I am especially excited to be working amongst Muslims, an area of ministry I feel God has called me to for the future. I need to raise £1000 to go on this trip, please pray for God’s provision and I will continue to trust in Him for this.

Please pray for guidance for what to do after this year. I have recently felt God call me back to London, so am praying and thinking about the possibility of moving and living back in London to get involved in a church plant. I know the only way this will happen is through God’s provision, please pray for this.

Hope you’ve all have a great month.

Lots of love,

Rachel.
