Our passion is to see Jesus honoured in our community.

 

We know this will only happen as we evidently love one another and give our money and energies into building what Jesus called 'the kingdom of God'.

 

Ultimately this is about the glory of God, practically this is about human transformation.  Starting with individuals, working in families and aiming to see communities affected by the life changing message of Jesus Christ.

 

So, what does that mean in practice?

 

Firstly, we've clarified our 'Purpose' ... the reason we exist as a church.

 

Secondly, we've examined our 'Values'.  What should it feel like to be part of this church?  Some of these things we already do, some of them we are aiming to do more of. This is part of us being transformed too!

 

Thirdly, we've focussed on the change we've been called to bring to the people God has placed us amongst. Our 'Vision' is nothing less than Community Transformation.

 

Fourthly, we've broken this down into a number of 'Objectives' that we are aiming to make real progress on over a five year period.  Some of them are quite challenging and we will only get there with God's grace and our best efforts.

 

Beyond that, each of our objectives have been divided into various 'Goals', and each goal has its own plan and 'owner'.

 

We are seeking to be serious about what we believe God has called us to.  We intend to make our lives count.
