How do we do things here?

 

Lots of churches believe pretty much the same things ... so why do they feel so different?

 

That question points you towards 'Values'. 

If your 'Purpose' tells you 'Why' you exist, then your 'Values' describe 'How' you intend to behave.

 

What does it feel like to be part of the church here?  Well, we know what we want it to be like, and it goes something like this:

 

- Relying on God's Word and the Holy Spirit's power.

 

- Simple, Transparent, Pure.

 

- Accepting, Compassionate, Generous

 

- Family: Healthy relationships

 

- Releasing people

 

- Wholehearted and fun!

 

These few words have been thrashed through and boiled down from a much larger list expressed in a more wordy way ... if you want to know what they mean in practice, we'd be happy to talk them through with you.

 

We are inspired by the church described in Acts 2:42-47.  This is what we are aiming for ... and to be part of the church here means that you are prepared to belong to a group of people who intend to become increasingly like this.
