Nik does not work full time for the church ... it only feels that way!

They are NOT the only leaders, nor do they do everything (!), but they have the responsibility for making sure everything that should happen does happen.

Their current priority it to see the formation of a wider leadership team that works alongside the eldership to benefit the church community.

Paul currently leads the eldership team and has worked full time for the church since 1999. Helena and Paul have been married for 25 years, they have three children - two at University and one still at secondary school. Paul was born and brought up in Cornwall and started work in the family resturant before becoming a beach lifeguard and a keen surfer. Before starting work for the church he was an insurance broker in the City of London. Paul was first taken onto staff as the church administrator and then became the church evangelist before taking on his current role. Helena was a midwife before she took further qualifications and worked as a Clinical Risk Manager for the local Healthcare Trust. She now works with a team of drug and alcohol workers at a substance misuse agency in Crawley.

Al and Kath have been married for 24 years and they have four children - one is taking a gap year and the other three are still at secondary school. Al has been employed full time by the church since 1997, leading the eldership team for much of that time. Before working for the church, he was a science teacher and spent seven years working for a large pharmaceutical company. Kath also works for the church and is responsible for the administration and childrens work. She is a keen walker and triathlele, in the church she leads a cell group and one of our KidzChurch teams. They have been part of the church since it was planted in 1991 and have lived in Redhill since 1995.

Nik is currently the only elder with a 'normal job'. However, being the CEO of a family business developing full scale Formula One racing simulators and marketing entertainment and activity centres around the world, its never really been that normal! Nik and Claire have been married for nearly ten years and they have one child. Claire is a civil servant and works part time in London.

Between the three couples there are more than 140 years of Christian experience, and we are committed to seeing the Kingdom of God enlarged through this community by transforming the lives of normal people!
